Delays to Deliveries and Shortage of Stocks

Important Notice to all Customers

We are experiencing shortage of stock and delivery delays due to reasons beyond our control. This may result in delays to your order delivery than advertised and/or we are having to substitute and/or refund for some items or cancel your entire order.

Delivery Alert from DPD 

Continued unprecedented demand for our services impacts deliveries in limited areas whilst snow affects deliveries in the South and Southeast

The industrial action at Royal Mail has impacted our entire industry and means we continue to see unprecedented demand for our services. In response to this, and the high volume of parcels we are still seeing in our network we have introduced a number of new operational measures.

These measures include the temporary restriction of deliveries to a limited number of postcode areas, this equates to approximately 5% of all postcodes nationally.

We will continue to advise your customers of any delay to their parcels and you can view any impacted parcels following your DPD tracking details.

Further deliveries are further impacted by snow and bad weather in the South and Southeast of the country, where we expect some parcels to incur a further 24 hour delay.

DPD is doing everything possible in these exceptional circumstances and we will continue to keep you updated on this situation throughout the week.

 

Shortage of Stocks

We are experiencing shortage of stock due to supply chain challenges, which are beyond our control. This may result in delays to your order delivery than advertised and/or we are having to substitute and/or refund for some items or cancel your entire order if we are unable to fulfil your order in part or full. Please shop only if you agree with this and our general terms & conditions.

Typically we receive daily fresh supplies and weekly grocery supplies so we could provide you the best quality fresh products with your order. Due to the current economic situation in Sri Lanka we are experiencing significantly short supplies of stock and delays in delivery services.

We work hard with our suppliers to manage these shortages so we can dispatch your orders as soon as we can. Regrettably, there may be instances that we may have to refund, provide alternative items or even cancel the entire order due to the above reasons. Your order delivery may be delayed than usual if we don't receive our supplies on time.
