Important Message to Gmail Users

We as an online business use email as our primary communication channel. Therefore, it is important that all our customers receive and read these emails from us on a timely manner. This will help our smooth operation and your orders are delivered without delays.

All emails received to your Gmail email address are filtered by Google and the placed into specific folders under the main inbox. There is a very high chance that all emails from Ceylon Supermart are classified as promotional emails by Google due to our business nature. These emails are very likely to sent to specific folders called 'Promotion' and 'Social'. While these are not spam filters, you will not see these in your mobile device or any other device that you use to check your Gmail emails, unless you specifically check them.

Therefore, we suggest you to either check these folders regularly or disable these folders in your Gmail account, so all emails from our system related to your order and our communication regarding them will land in the main inbox allowing you to read them on any device.

Login to your Gmail account using a computer, click on the 'Inbox' on the left hand side section. Then click on 'More' to see the 'Social' and 'Promotions' folders under 'Categories'

Also, you can see the 'Social' and 'Promotions' tabs shown next to 'Primary' on the right.

 

Go to 'Settings' on the top right hand side of the screen by clicking the 'wheel' sign and then if required by clicking 'See all settings' button. Select the 'Inbox' tab, then the following screen will appear. Notice the options already selected with 'tick' marks.

 

Untick the 'Social' and 'Promotions' options and save the changes by clicking the 'Save Changes' button at the bottom of the screen.
